Let’s be honest, I could share a standard review of footwear after wearing them around town for a couple of weeks. However, the real test comes from wearing shoes for a full day of walking 23,000+ steps at a theme park! That’s what I did for this review. 

Yep, I wore Reef sandals to Disney World! And today I am sharing my honest review of Reef sandals to provide some honest insight before you purchase.

The Reef Sandals I Wear

For this review, I will be sharing my experience wearing the Cushion Vista Reef Sandals in color Vintage. This is a class slide sandal available in neutral colors that go well with nearly any outfit.

This sandal is currently available in five different colorways on Reef.com and several additional colors on Amazon.

Reef Sandals Review: Cushion Vista (color Vintage)

Before these sandals, I was skeptical of wearing anything other than walking sneakers to a theme park. After wearing these at Disney World and several other full day walking events, I am hooked! The Cushion Vista sandals have arch support I need, soft straps that don’t cause blisters, and look great!

I find myself reaching for these the most when I know I will be on my feet for an extended time. My feet never feel constricted or uncomfortable.

There was minimal breaking in required for me with the Cushion Vista. I will say though that I did not open them up and take them straight to the theme park. I did wear them casually for a while before traveling with them.

My feet do have one small bunion as a result of wearing heels on hard surfaces for years, therefore I have to be careful with strap placement on sandals. I have never felt as though these are too tight or cause my bunion pain to flare up. 

Another thing to note is that the Cushion Vista sandal is not 100% waterproof, the upper strap is a vegan leather material, which I knew before buying. However, I have worn these in the rain and around water without any issues. The footbed is a flexible rubber and it is more waterproof than the straps. Reef makes other waterproof sandals that are very cute!

The Cushion Vista runs true to size in my opinion, I ordered my normal size and am happy with the fit.
